Sunset in Oia & Traditional Villages Bus Tour
Daily 15:00 – After sunset
1st stop Panagia Episkopi Byzantine Church: 40 minutes. This is the first type of church with a cruciform dome covered by byzantine tiles built on the island. Entrance free included.
2nd stop Mesa Gonia: 40 minutes. This settlement suffered extensive damage in the 1956 earthquake and was subsequently abandoned by its people who moved an built the village of Kamari.
3rd stop Pyrgos Village: 40 minutes. The former capital of Santorini, Pyrgos was declared a “preserved monument” in 1995. You will have the chance to visit the Kasteli, to stroll around the village and take photos of the beautifull churches and enjoy a magnificent view of the island once you reach the top.
4th stop Oia village: 2 hours. For ages Oia was called Epano Meria (upper side), since it’s built in the northern side of the island. It is an impressive settlement known all over the world for the magnificent sunset-
